Cap/underside: Soft and spongy; tubes to 2 cm deep; pores irregular; when growing on side of log, becoming tooth-like, and looking like a veil which is orange at the top fading to pale at tips. Grows across surface of wood/pine cones; exposed pores; yellow rhizomorphs and white mycelium.
