Cap/upper_surface: Up to 2-2.5 cm diameter; mildly campanulate; young caps tan=brown; when mature, pale at apex, increasingly darkening to dark-brown/black at margin; finely hairy; margin slightly frayed; radial striations for 1.2-to 2/3 length of cap from margin towards apex.
Cap/underside: : Gills distant; occasional short gills; free.
Stipe: Stipe ca 5-6 mm long, and 3-4 mm diameter; brown when young, aging to dark brown.
