Observation 299655: Psathyrella (Fr.) Quél.

Habitat: Growing on highly rotted wood and leaf litter at the base of a ridge in a dense mixed hardwood/pine forest. Northwest Georgia.

Gills: dark brown

Stipe: tan, thin, smooth, very fragile (falling apart in my hands)

Cap: Conical, cream to tan to gray/black. Specimens under leaves had more black shades (bruised?)

Spore print: very dark brown to black
