Growing near bank of Perch pond in some moss surrounded by conifers and miscellaneous brush. Growing singularly, but other specimens were growing within feet. not sure if they were same species.
No significant rain within 3 days prior.
Cap and stipe were moist, but not wet or vicid.
did not notice bruising or latex upon damaging.
