Observation 301026: Pholiotina rugosa group

When: 2017-12-01

Collection location: Franklin Co., Virginia, USA [Click for map]

Who: Cody Morgan (Cody)

Specimen available

Notes:
Growing scattered in an area where water drains off a driveway and through a tree line of mostly oak with scattered pines. Im assuming they are growing from the wood debris and soil.

Im guessing the black stems are from being old and possibly freezing temps, ive seen this happen in other mushrooms.
