Rod, the GA crenulata observation you mention…

I believe it’s found on the “Amanita of North America” facebook website.

Crenulata is a common species here in NE PA, and I often see examples which lack the volval powder on the bulb… possibly because it gets washed off by rainfall.

It seems to me that David Wasilewski has IDd an observation from Georgia which did look…
