Notes:
Black crust fungus on a downed hardwood branch at the top of a ridge in a mixed hardwood/coniferous forest in Northwest Georgia (Gordon County), US. Looks like it is possibly resupinate as the upper surface is covered in small pores/dots. The texture is leathery and smooth. Edge (pileus?) of fungus is orange to cinnamon brown. Any help with identification is much appreciated!
