Observation 301733: Undetermined

When: 2017-12-06

Collection location: New Milford, Connecticut, USA [Click for map]

Who: cmy610

No specimen available

I found a rotting log that was nearly 50% infected with Chlorociboria. When I pulled a chunk off of the log, this is what was underneath – a network of white hyphae (?) that had a pinkish red base. Spotted in a deciduous forest.
