Recognized by sight: Yellowish cap, pores, stem and flesh. Pores bruise somewhat greenish. Stem appears to have dots. Under huckleberry and pine.

Recognized by sight: Bluing pore surface & gestalt would indicate a species from the Tomentosus Group in the sense of Nguyen et al. (2016), i.e., it being one of the three main generic sections discussed in that reference
