Habitat: Growing in a cluster on wood at the base of an old chestnut oak tree in a dense mixed hardwood/pine forest. Northwest Georgia.

Gills: lamellulae present, cream colored, slightly decurrent

Stipe: white. bulbous and yellow-stained near the base. flimsy (cobwebby) white ring zone

Cap: brown with white veil remnants. appears fuzzy.

Spore print: White
