Habitat: Growing in a cluster on an oak tree wound in a dense mixed hardwood/pine forest. Northwest Georgia.
Gills: lamellulae present, cream colored, slightly decurrent. young specimen covered in cobwebby white veil.
Stipe: white with veil remnants. bulbous and yellow-stained near the base. flimsy (very cobwebby) white ring zone
Cap: brown with white veil remnants. appears fuzzy.
