I am hoping to buy the land— I know EXACTLY where this gorgeous specimen lives! I’ll collect as much as you want, if all goes according to plan. :)

You can tell it is clearly peritheciate — that’s what the warts are. That dusky gray color is typical of Pseudosagedia, always at the base of old trees, although in my experience usually on rough/thick-barked trees, but hey, who’s counting??
I know only two fertile species, differentiated by spore size. P. cestrensis is the common one (spores < 50µm), P. rhaphidosperma is the other (spores > 100µm). There’s an isidiate version, too. Same color but covered with tiny invisible isidia instead. Very rarely collected because it’s so inconspicuous.
Please collect a piece of this so we can eventually id this to species! Such a good specimen and set of photos.
Those spores are pretty freaking huge. Hard to miss. :)
