was also B. subglabripes. But Boletus gertrudiae also came to mind but unlikely. I can’t tell the stipe texture from the photos but probably would be OK with calling it subglabripes complex…

would be B. subglabripes… But for this species I’m used to seeing more yellow on the stipe, and a little more vivid yellow for the pore surface. Were these photos taken using a flash?
