I don’t think it’s a mixed collection

Added a photo of them drying. They were growing in a distinct little patch, all seemed the same in the field too.

No smell or taste.

Any chance you have a mixed species here?

Some look to have a somewhat decurrent gill attachment – others not. Some have a red stipe others a yellow stipe. And of course the cap color is all over the place between red and yellow. I’m not sure we will ever know the true identity of some of the Hygrophoraceae without DNA – and even then maybe ID will not be definitive. One I sent in for DNA sequencing that looks like the big one here in middle of the group came back with closest match to H. quieta! So what is it doing in the PNW?
