Cap/upper_surface: Largest, ca 10-11 cm diameter; flat and slightly depressed; dry; brown center fading to off-white at margin, with some fibers near margin.
Cap/underside: Gills close; attached; white.
Stipe: Ca. 7-8 cm long, 3-4 cm diameter; approximately equal along stipe; white with fibrils above ring, with brown scales below; dry; partial veil off-white to gray, with torn margin resembling tissue.
Taste: Slightly bitter
Odor: No distinctive odor
