Observation 302124: Hebeloma (Fr.) P. Kumm.

Notes:
Growing in scattered caespitose clusters of up to 3 fruiting bodies at the base of a Tilia sp. in a brick sidewalk. At least 20 fruiting bodies present. Odor raphanoid. Taste farinose. White cortina present on young fruiting bodies and leaving some remnants on mature stems. Caps caramel brown with a whitish margin. Context white, not bruising and hollow at the center of the stem. Caps convex. Gills sinuate. No external surfaces bruising. Gills up to ~0.4 cm deep with white fimbriate edges and lacking tears. No rhizomorphs present.
