Habitat: Growing in leaf debris/pine needles on the side of a ridge in a dense mixed hardwood/pine forest. Northwest Georgia.

Gills: honey to blush, shortly decurrent, alternating short gills.

Stipe: honey brown, hairy/fuzzy

Cap: Tan, slick, very thick (difficult to cut through) hairy/fuzzy edges visible

Spore print: black to dark brown.
