Yes, it was an effort to collect Russula and attempt to identify them.

I think there are not many photos of the vast majority of Russula because we were so busy trying to identify them… The notable collections were left with Mike Davis to sequence.

Russula Blitz? Is this like a Bioblitz centered specifically on Russula? If so, why so many other collections noted, but Russula apparently lacking? Did our deep freeze reach that far south?
