When: 2017-12-11

Collection location: Little Skookum, Mason Co., Washington, USA [Click for map]

Who: Steve (Lokness)

No specimen available

Notes:
Not sure what is going on here? One from same location and with a look just like the brown one here came back with the closest match to G. psittacinus. Not a close match – but the closest match. The orange guys here are no more than 2 feet away. The orange one I originally thought were the same species as brown but maybe with some kind of secondary infection. I remain puzzled.

Weird grouped mushrooms look like they are coming out of the same stipe. Biggest ones here are maybe 2 cm across and will likely get bigger.

Cold weather (23 last night) with hardly anything showing – but these are consistent finds.
