Notes:
Polypore in rosette formation on the base of a rotting stump. Concentric zones of gray, blue, cinnamon, and cream. Texture is firm and velvety. Fertile surface (on the underside) is cream to white and covered in tiny pores.

Habitat:
At the base of a rotting stump on the side of a ridge in a dense mixed hardwood/coniferous forest in Northwest Georgia (Gordon County), US. Spotted
