Observation 30965: Vascellum lloydianum A.H. Sm.

These were identified at the Davis club foray. The spores are in the right size range, ~3.8-4.9 microns but I don’t see any significant signs of ornamentation.
Edit 11-1-2014; This was confirmed as V. lloydianum by Stephanie Jarvis in her 2014 Masters thesis “The Lycoperdaceae of California”. Apparently soon to be renamed “Lycoperdon lloydianum(A. H. Sm.)Jarvis”.
