Observation 315648: Russula Pers.

Habitat: Growing on the side of a ridge (near a rotting stump) in a dense mixed hardwood/coniferous forest in NW Georgia (Gordon County), US.

Pileus: Purple with some light magenta hues. Slightly damp.

Flavor/Odor: Indistinct, pleasant.

Gills: White, crowded

Stipe: White, nonbruising

Spore print: white
