Observation 315704: Inocybe (Fr.) Fr.

Habitat: Growing in soil/leaf litter below a hardwood tree (near a seasonal stream) in a dense mixed hardwood/coniferous forest in NW GA (Gordon County), US.

Gill surface: Cream, crowded, attaches to stem with slight notch/curve

Stipe: Thin, highly fibrillose (interior and exterior), warm brown in color.

Pileus: Small, semiglobose, warm brown, surface covered in similarly colored scales, possible veil remnants/scales around margin.

Odor: None.

Spore print (see photos): Not achieved.

ID help is most welcome! I was thinking Pholiota sp., but I am not sure at this point. The lack of spore print was not particularly helpful, so I might try to scope this one.
