Based on reference above, this species is rare in eastern North America, though I don’t see any other literature about this other than some Hygrophorus species and they don’t seem to fit. Growing in sphagnum moss and pine needle liter. A boggy area, with decent shade. Caps were very sticky and viscid. Striate margin.
