Cap/upper_surface: Largest, ca 7-8 cm diameter; convex; bald; red.
Cap/underside: Pores, very small, invisible to naked eye.; yellow becoming brown with age due to spores; immediately bruised blue.
Stipe: Tapering from ca. 2.5 cm at base to 1.5 cm at apex; smooth; streaked red at base to yellow at apex; not bruising.
Taste: Not bitter
Odor: No distinctive odor
Chemistry: Cap turned yellow with both KOH/NH4; Pore surface gray with KOH, no change with NH4; Stipe context red with KOH, blue with NH4.
