Under hemlock and beech.
Pileus: 8-12 cm in diameter, wide & convex, smooth, rose pinkish with whitish to yellow olive spots.

Pores: Yellow at first, becoming dingy olive-yellow, staining blue and then bluish-brown.

Stipe: Nearly equal or tapering down to the base; yellow base color with some red to pinkish tinges, sometimes with reddish-yellowish striations.

Context: White to pale yellow, staining bluish in the cap context and sometimes in the stipe, as well.

Odor and taste: Not distinctive
Mycelium color: Yellow
