I’ve been seeing this sucker for years and it is a pine area mushroom, seems to like our Loblolly pines. That’s the first species name I’ve had suggested for it. Very nice.

I cannot identify Agaricus to save my life, but there is one species I recognize fairly well — A. vinosobrunneofumidus, (e.g., obs 288254). It really likes to grow in the coniferous habitat of the NJ Pine Barrens. I think you obsie might be this species.
