Rounded white spots are on granite in open places not dense pine-tree forest.
Lichen lives in pores and microcracks in granite. Sometimes these calcium oxalate (?) spots are a little deeper than fresh granite outer frame, so this lichen corroded granite and extracted calcium. Near these white spots is very often something as observation 319857.
