Stipe floccose, cap smooth, shiny, dry. Gills white, close to crowded, powdery flocosse. Under quercus nigra in grass. Nearby trees in felling distace: pinus taeda, thuja occidentalis, quercus virginiana.

They seem to flush regularly in the same spot, I will see if I can sort it out with the microscope and the descriptions given of those 2 species.

The overall presentation reminds me of subsolitaria and rhoadsii, both of which are known from FL.
