Growing in the grass of my lawn. I found two specimens, one of which I cut off the stalk to make a spore print and let sit out for about an hour. The one with a stalk is fresh. The field guide book led me to believe this is a Panaeolus subbalteatus or “Girdled Panaeolus”, however I did not find it in manure as stated above. Because of this I am very unsure of what it actually is. Also, don’t mind the marking on the cap without the stalk that was from a pair of tweezers.
