On Quercus agrifolia in coastal oak woodland. Broad spore isthmus.

Thalli varying from thin, whitish green, continuous, to thicker white verruculose, always K-. Apothecia orange, up to 0.5mm, plane to somewhat convex, disk finely roughened (pruina?), proper margin becoming dominant, paler than disk, thalline margin with gray material, reduced. Pycnidia uncommon, dark orange, shiny.

Spores polarilocular, hyaline, ellipsoid. Spore average size13.2×7.0 (n=6), spore isthmus 5.4µm.
