Growing in clear cut between two wooded areas (pine/mixed). Cap with slight powder-like residue, easily rubbed off. Stipe tapering towards cap. White and smooth. No prominent volva.

Deposit white. Spores smooth, mostly elliptical and infrequently broadly elliptical, 7.5-8.6 × 5.3-7.2

There is a real (but little) bulb at the stipe base. This critter is in section Amanita.
