Solitary young fruit body growing in open area with oak, near a border of an oak-dominated forest. This area produces annual fruitings on B. bicolor.
Context in both cap and stipe yellow, with small areas of blue stain developing very slowly (longer than 5 minutes; not noticed until an hour after collection).
The pale olive faded/stained areas similar to what is seen here observed on obs 320360.
