on metamorphic rock on ground; south facing serpentine slope with scattered dwared Pinus ponderosa and mostly dead Arctostaphylos

thallus gray, areolate, POL+ strong but P- only half clearing in K; epihymenium green, K+ brown; hymenium ~175um; paraphyses 3 ~globose cells; spores 8 per ascus in at least one case, ~20×13-17um; conidia 6-12um
