because they were taken at the same time. Firstly, I thought that Observation 321271 could be different from Pulchroboletus because it is more orange and yellow, but it may be the same, but younger mushrooms.
…obs 321257 – as the sole pic in this observation (321264) was also uploaded to that one. If these are different collections, they could still be conspecific. I think obs 321271 , for which I proposed Pulchroboletus, could also be the same species.
These are not Boletus, for this genus is reserved only for porcini-like boletes. I think the overall gestalt of these boletes places them into a diverse mophological group consisting of species like, B. miniato-olivaceus, B. patrioticus, B. smithii, P. rubricitrinus, and ‘X.’ sclerotiorum.
