Growing under oak, solitarily. Cap slightly viscid, more so when wet. Cuticle peeling about 1/3 of the way. Margins slightly striate-tuberculate. Gills close, slightly serrated along the edges, forking near stipe. Stipe crumbly, breaking like chalk, whitish/greyish, smooth. Deposit creamy/pale yellow. Spores ovoid to broadly ellipsoid, 6.9-8.3 × 4.6-6.3; warts <5um, several connectors present, but scattered.
