Growing scattered under oak. Cap viscid when wet, margin slightly striate-tuberculate. Cuticle peeling about 1/3 to 1/2. Gills white/cream, flexible with slight serrated edges, inconsistent forking near stipe. Stipe not fragile, though not cartilaginous, smooth with some slight vertical striations, whitish to grey. Deposit cream/pale. Spores ovoid to broadly ellipsoid, warts up to 0.5um, very partial reticulations scattered (2-4 ridges when present); 6.9-8.6 × 5-7
