On enormous old-growth Douglas-fir log fallen over stream. Multiple large conks on underside of log. Conks are very thin, broadly attached to log, wavy margin, dark brown caps. In old growth mixed coniferous mid elevation forest.


These are a foot and more across.
This monster is nearly 2 ft across.
This was the smallest conk, about 5" across.
