What ’s shame that there is no specimens for loaning. I am studying on this kind of fungi, wish to borrow fungal specimens for comparison. Anyway to so?

It turns black. The ants and various other insects are enjoying the honey dew.

Yellow ants?

This fungus is yellow and covered in ants. The ones I find are black and associated with woolly aphids on the branches of beech trees. This yellow fungus looks like something different to me.
