Observation 32340: Sistotrema muscicola (Pers.) S. Lundell

The specimen was growing under pine duff in the young (14yr old) post-fire pine forest at the end of the Mt Vision Road. I found it while raking for Rhizopogon. Features seem to fit well with the European species, although spores are on the small side of the range (3.5-2.3). The 6-spored basidia are striking, but do not show up well on the photos due to depth of field issues.
