Collybioid: Several dozen specimens, some cespitose, on a decorticted hardwood log.
Spores are mostly dextrinoid (brown in Meltzers);ellipsoid
4.9-5.4 × 3.3-3.6 microns.
Smell and taste mild. Prominent central bump.
Iron Salts produce blackening on top of cap, pinkish on gills.
No reaction to KOH or NH3
