conica differs by cap color (bright orange/red), primarily…

and by having a mostly dry rather than slimy stipe.

H. conica is slightly viscid/moist to start with, but very soon dry.
I don’t think singeri is more different than other species in the conica group, but the others are usually just regarded to be varieties.
