Observation 329535: Clitocybe nuda group

Notes:
White flesh edged in purple. On ground in woods under SW white pine, aspen, spruce and Douglas fir. Collected by Lori Perrone at the Hart Prairie Preserve foray.

There appear to be several undescribed taxa in the Clitocybe nuda group. It is a European taxon.

I didn’t get to smell this one as I didn’t collect it but those that I’ve collected under AZ cypress have the typical frozen OJ odor.

Looks like yours is related to but perhaps not the same as the conifer blewit we see on the west coast. Do you know what these smell like? Our conifer blewits smell unpleasant and our blewits that occur with oak smell like frozen orange juice and have 100% sequence matches in Europe, so I call those ones sensu stricto.
