This was new along a wooded trail. First time I’d seen one on the trail. It appeared to be a fungi of some type per the long skinny stem that looked like other mushroom stems and the tissue being thicker and waxy sort of looking – not a flower. Have no clue what it is. I know next to nothing about mushrooms and fungi in general. Curious as have never seen one like it and would like feedback.
