Thanks for the information, Else. Hmm, I wonder how common S. semiglobata actually is in Northern CA.

could be Stropharia dorsipora

All specimens from Point Reyes which we checked sofar had the germ pore excentrically located on the spore, so we called these Stropharia dorsipora.
