Collected from oak hemlock woods. Surface velvety. Setae measure 224-306 microns. 8 spore ascus. 15 septate. Paraphyses rounded, coiled at end with broad septation. Spores measure 129-156.6 × 6.5-7.8 um. Bar=20um.
