Notes:
Found by Neil Mezache on a group hunt. Potential ECM hosts noticed in the area were Quercus spp., Pinus strobus, Tsuga canadensis, Fagus grandifolia, Carpinus caroliniana and Betula alleghaniensis (probably not for this one). Lightly reticulate at stem apex. Pores stuffed. Cap slightly glabrous. Taste mild. Odor not distinctive. Not staining.
