Stomata cylindrical/clavate, 2 cm to 3 cm high, up to .5 cm wide, short concolorous stipe.
Blackish/brown with copper shades.
Surface contains tiny cracks around ostioles.
Ascospores smooth, brown, ellipsoid-inequilateral; 9 -10 × 4.5 -5 um, germ slit not apparent
