Spore print: PALE ORANGE. I have NEVER had an orange spore print. I’m sure it wasn’t a mistake, because the print was quite thick and large enough to well cover both the light and dark area of the paper.

Actually I just went through the print colors of all the Russulas. Some have a pale yellow-orange print, but those are green colored and this is red. Among red Russulas there are some pale yellow prints (which maybe I saw light yellow as orange) so those are a possibility.
