Notes:
Three immature fruiting bodies growing in soil in wood chips under a large bush on the east side of the Arboretum property abutting Whippany Rd. The habitat here is very diverse: the nearby trees include a ~50 y.o. European beech (Fagus sylvatica) and lots of planted conifers, such as red pine, some kind of fir and even a cedar. One specimen was preserved and the other one was displayed at the NJMA annual mushroom fair at the FA.
